Moving from KennelConnection means trading a local database for software you can reach from anywhere, backed up off-site, with an owner portal your clients can use themselves. Your owners and pets come with you. Here is how the switch works.

How to switch, step by step
From KennelConnection, open Reports and export your customer list and your pet or animal list to CSV or Excel. If your data sits in the built-in database, Blue Crystal's support can provide a client and pet extract for you.

In Biffles, open Owners and choose Import. Select KennelConnection from the platform list, upload your CSV, and we match the columns for you. Owners and their pets arrive together. Review the preview, then import.
Set up your services and prices, invite your team, and start taking bookings. Send owners a portal invite whenever you are ready.

Will I lose any data moving from KennelConnection?
No. Your owners and their pets come across from the CSV export. Keep KennelConnection to hand for a while so past bookings and invoices stay available for reference.
How long does switching take?
Most businesses are up and running the same day. The import itself takes a few minutes once you have your CSV.
Can I run KennelConnection and Biffles at the same time?
Yes. Keep booking in KennelConnection until you are confident, then pick a quiet day to go live on Biffles.
What if a column will not line up?
The import screen lets you match any column by hand. If something still will not fit, send us your export and we will get your list in for you.
