Cattery sits alongside Boarding as a separate overnight service. Set the number of cats you can take and Biffles counts cattery bookings against that figure alone, never against your kennels.
Species is part of the pet record, so a cat carries its breed, microchip, vet, medications and feeding notes exactly as a dog does. The front desk sees the same screen either way.
A stay is the nightly rate multiplied by the nights. Two cats from one household can share a cheaper nightly rate through the per-pet tier ladder.
Your dashboard flags vaccinations that are running out. You find out before the stay, not while the owner is standing at reception with the carrier.

Common questions
Can I run a cattery and kennels side by side?
Yes, and they never compete for space. Cattery and Boarding are separate services, each with its own capacity, so a full kennel cannot block a cat's stay and a full cattery cannot block a dog's.
Is the cattery capacity separate from boarding?
Yes. Each service carries its own capacity, and a booking is only ever counted against the service it was made on.
Are cats allocated to a specific pen or unit?
No. Biffles counts cats against the cattery capacity rather than assigning them to a named unit.
Can I charge different rates for different unit types?
No. A business has one cattery service, with a nightly rate and the per-pet tier ladder. Rates cannot vary by pen or unit type.
What about vaccinations?
Each pet holds its vaccinations with the date given and the date they expire, and the dashboard flags the ones running out.
